Santa Barbara Annual Summer Service Learning Institute, Santa Barbara, CA. Working with more than 80 youth in August 2010, Adam planned and co-facilitated a youth strand focused on engagement and action. He also keynoted to the entire event, including an additional 100 adults, focused on youth-adult partnerships.
Prairie Ridge Community Youth Forum, Pierce County, WA. Focused on motivating action in this low-income rural community, this first-time event in May 2010 brought together 25 youth and adults from the area to discuss what was wrong, what is right, and what youth and adults can do together to make it better.
Manchester Youth Commission Retreat, Manchester, CT. More than thirty youth leaders from this rural New England community gathered in March 2010 to learn about Adam's dynamic, research-driven tools and how to apply them to make their community action efforts more effective.
White River High School Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Assembly, White River, WA. This high school looked to Adam to provide an engaging, honest examination of the legacy of MLK in relationship to the lives of students in this rural community in January 2010.
Spanaway Elementary School Student Community Leadership Training, Spanaway, WA. Hundreds of elementary students joined Adam in exploring community leadership in fun, interactive, and real-life focused training sessions from 2001 to 2007.
